The narrative unfolds through the perspective of a skateboarder and journalist from Piauí who revisits the origins and evolution of Teresina’s skateboarding scene. Drawing on interviews, oral accounts from key figures, memories, and personal experiences, the film builds an emotional and political timeline of the skateboarding movement in the city, spanning different generations from the 1980s to the present day. By recovering these memories, the narrative also highlights women’s presence and experiences within skateboarding, revealing the sport as a cultural practice, a source of belonging, and a way of life shaped on the margins of traditionally recognized spaces.
